INTRODUCTION:-
Situated in the state of Maharashtra, Ahmednagar District Sandhan Ghati is one of those places that people from all over the country and all over the world aspire to visit every year. The Dhan Valley is surrounded by the Alang, Madan and Kulang ranges. It is a narrow and naturally occurring gorge which is a great combination of valley and valley. Hidden behind the Sahyadri ranges, tease a great place to visit by travelers. Sandhan Valley is located on the western bank of the Bhandardara Dam. Which was built during the British rule in India and has historical significance. It is about 125 km from Mumbai and 155 km from Ahmednagar district.
GUIDE TO REACH SANDHAN VALLEY:-
BY TRAIN:-
Sandhan Valley can be reached by train from Mumbai to Igatpuri or Kasara.It takes around two to 3 hours to reach Kasara Rail Station.From Kasara Rail Station,one can get a four wheeler vehicle such as a jeep to take the person from Kasara to Samrad.Samrad,the nearest village from Sandhan Valley is the point where the journey begins
BY ROAD:-
Roadways are also available to reach Sandhan Valley from Mumbai.One has to take the Nashik Expressway to reach Ghoti from Mumbai.From Ghoti,a certain number of buses will be available to reach Bhandardara and finally booking a jeep will be enough to reach Samrad village which is the base village of this trek.
BY FLIGHT:-
There are apparently no flights available to take someone to Sandhan valley or its adjoining areas.

Sandhan Valley is also popularly known as the “Valley of Shadows”,as almost no sunlight. It is reaching through the gorge or the cliffs of the valley. It gives great pleasure to its trekkers and visitors when they camp next to Samrad village. Base village and place from where trekking starts. Camping can also be done on one side of the valley area. Camps with primary necessities such as tents, mats and lights are sufficient to serve the number of trekkers present.
