INTRODUCTION:
Mcleodganj, located on the outskirts of Dharamshala, is known as the “Little Lhasa (Tibet) of India.” At a height of 2082 metres, it is a small and beautiful hill station with a blend of Tibetan and Indian culture (6831 feet). The location is nestled among the mighty hills of the Dhauladhars and is a great weekend getaway for residents of Chandigarh, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Ambala, and other nearby cities.
this is a three-day trip from New Delhi in which we spend one day in McleodGanj exploring the area, visiting a monastery, the Bhagsu waterfall, and going cafe hopping. Simply knowing the location and people. The mix of cultures that has so easily blended into the town’s routine. The next day, after breakfast, we began our trek to Triund, a very good hike that begins in McleodGanj and winds up to the top. Camping under the stars, views of the valley, and sunrise illuminating the snow-capped peaks are just a few highlights of Triund.
